Hey I told Bruce I would.

1. I was a rookie under Unit Chief SSA Jason Gideon; the man was a notorious pain in the ass, liked to assault his agents with a racquet ball, and was never wrong. Literally and figuratively. Damn, I miss him. My field of specialty was obsession-based crimes and bomb tech.

2. I was seeing SSA Perdita Blackwood, Melanie Butcher, and Sam (Samantha before you all get cheeky) Garrison although none of them seriously.

3. I did my first 75 mile bike race for MS with Gideon and my team. We were supporting Sam’s little brother and raised 10k.

If I'd had some set idea of a finish line, don't you think I would have crossed it years ago?- Bill Gates )

Does this mean I'm due for a midlife crisis? Oh! Oh! Does this mean Garcia's my hot blonde?
derekmorgan: (Looks damn good in blue)

Who Derek Morgan, the team, Grigori Byko, Batman
When Bendy time
Where Tenement house where Reid is being held
Why Gotta rescue him

Narrow halls, and the smell of excrement barely registered over the smell of chemicals and the skittering people that had sense enough to move out of the way when they saw SWAT and FBI stalking down the hall. They were homeless mostly, and most of the walls and floorboards had gaping holes were time- or the chemicals that had been used to make the meth- had eaten away at the structure. There were muffled words of ‘be careful,’ and ‘watch out, there’ that Morgan only half registered as he and Prentiss deliberately made their way through the stairs.
They opt for a quiet extraction rather than hard and fast. They got one shot at this before Grigori Byko killed the hostage and then turned his guns on them. Everyone knew it.

He’s not sure- and won’t ever be- of what happened first or where the first bullet came, or the first curse word but suddenly the world exploded from under him. Morgan felt a pain sharp and blinding in his kneecap and his first thought he was shot.

For he suddenly smote on the door, even louder, and lifted his head:-- 'Tell them I came, and no one answered, That I kept my word,' he said. Never the least stir made the listeners, Though every word he spake Fell echoing through the shadowiness of the still house From the one man left awake: Ay, they heard his foot upon the stirrup, And the sound of iron on stone, And how the silence surged softly backward, When the plunging hoofs were gone. )

[Locked to Gideon]

Your boy's lying, Jason. I'm not convinced he didn't start the fire himself, and I was on him, even with the fire, until I supposedly "fell"...

[Locked to the team and Gideon]

Doctors say I'll be released tomorrow morning, ready to return to duty. Concussion and smoke inhalation not that bad. What's the game plan?

[Locked to Garcia alone]

I'm fine, baby girl. I swear.

1. Derek Morgan was born June 6, 1973 to Darnell and Fran Morgan, in Chicago, Illinois. He has two sisters Desiree and Sarah and a dog named Clooney.

2. When he was ten, he and his father went out to pick up dinner and were side-tracked by a robbery in progress. His father hadn’t meant to answer the call, especially with his son in the car but he also knows his father had to help. He took two to the chest and died in his son’s arms.

If heroism be confined to brutal and ferocious valour, Richard will stand high among the heroes of the age. )

One look from Gideon and everyone lets him stay on the balcony.

In so many ways, that makes its worst because if ever there was a glass cage, the hotel room makes for a suitable stand in and there’s nothing Derek Morgan hates more then being on display. He finds a corner where he can push his chair closest to the wall, where only his feet are visible to the inside of the room and sits there staring out into the Bay while the techs take over his and Garcia’s room. The worst part is, he started sleeping here to reassure her it was safe and now suddenly, he’s the one shaking.

In the day by day collision Called the art of growing up There's an innocence we look for in the stars To be taken back to younger days When there was no giving up On the people we held closest to our hearts Yeah it is you that I remember in that glowing It is you that took my first away from me It is you I set my standards to... to every walk of life I haven't met another you since you were with me... )

You're the fighter you've got the fire
The spirit of a warrior, the champion's heart
You fight for your life because the fighter never quits
You make the most of the hand you're dealt
Because the quitter never wins
No!

You were born to box in a city that's seen their share
Mello, Ryan, Carney, among them your photo proudly hangs there
Above the bar in the Gaelic Club
They tell the story of a throwback
With the heart of a lion
They salute your glory

It's another murderous right
Another left hook from hell
A bloody war on the boardwalk
And the kid from Lowell rises to the bell

[Chorus:]
Micky
It's a warrior's code
Micky
He's got the warrior's soul

[Chorus]

"Sing For The Moment"

[Verse 1]
These ideas are nightmares to white parents
Whose worst fear is a child with dyed hair and who likes earrings
Like whatever they say has no bearing, it's so scary in a house that allows
no swearing
To see him walking around with his headphones blaring
Alone in his own zone, cold and he don't care
He's a problem child
And what bothers him all comes out, when he talks about
His fuckin' dad walkin' out
Cause he just hates him so bad that he blocks him out
If he ever saw him again he'd probably knock him out
His thoughts are whacked, he's mad so he's talkin' back
Talkin' black, brainwashed from rock and rap
He sags his pants, do-rags and a stocking cap
His step-father hit him, so he socked him back, and broke his nose
His house is a broken home, there's no control, he just let's his emotions
go...

[Chorus]
{C'mon}, sing with me, {sing}, sing for the years
{Sing it}, sing for the laughter, sing for the tears, {c'mon)
Sing it with me, just for today, maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you
away...

[Verse 2]
Entertainment is changin', intertwinin' with gangsta's
In the land of the killers, a sinner's mind is a sanctum
Holy or unholy, only have one homie
Only this gun, lonely cause don't anyone know me
Yet everybody just feels like they can relate, I guess words are a
mothafucka they can be great
Or they can degrade, or even worse they can teach hate
It's like these kids hang on every single statement we make
Like they worship us, plus all the stores ship us platinum
Now how the fuck did this metamorphosis happen
From standin' on corners and porches just rappin'
To havin' a fortune, no more kissin' ass
But then these critics crucify you, journalists try to burn you
Fans turn on you, attorneys all want a turn at you
To get they hands on every dime you have, they want you to lose your mind
every time you mad
So they can try to make you out to look like a loose cannon
Any dispute won't hesitate to produce handguns
That's why these prosecutors wanna convict me, strictly just to get me off
of these streets quickly
But all they kids be listenin' to me religiously, so i'm signin' cd's while
police fingerprint me
They're for the judge's daughter but his grudge is against me
If i'm such a fuckin' menace, this shit doesn't make sense Pete
It's all political, if my music is literal, and i'm a criminal how the fuck
can I raise a little girl
I couldn't, I wouldn't be fit to, you're full of shit too, Guerrera, that
was a fist that hit you...

[CHORUS]

[Verse 3]
They say music can alter moods and talk to you
Well can it load a gun up for you , and cock it too
Well if it can, then the next time you assault a dude
Just tell the judge it was my fault and i'll get sued
See what these kids do is hear about us totin' pistols
And they want to get one cause they think the shit's cool
Not knowin' we really just protectin' ourselves, we entertainers
Of course the shit's affectin' our sales, you ignoramus
But music is reflection of self, we just explain it, and then we get our
checks in the mail
It's fucked up ain't it
How we can come from practically nothing to being able to have any fuckin'
thing that we wanted
That's why we sing for these kids, who don't have a thing
Except for a dream, and a fuckin' rap magazine
Who post pin-up pictures on their walls all day long
Idolize they favorite rappers and know all they songs
Or for anyone who's ever been through shit in their lives
Till they sit and they cry at night wishin' they'd die
Till they throw on a rap record and they sit, and they vibe
We're nothin' to you but we're the fuckin' shit in they eyes
That's why we seize the moment try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and
hold it
Cause we consider these minutes golden
And maybe they'll admit it when we're gone
Just let our spirits live on, through our lyrics that you hear in our
songs and we can...

[CHORUS X2]
